Summary:
CPS Unit 100, subunit 9, located in New Jersey, was operated by the Brethren Service Committee.
This first Brethren dairy testing unit opened with nine testers. The men received special training prior to beginning the work.
Franklin A. McLean, a Selective Service officer, characterized the job performance of the CPS men as “good work” and “entirely satisfactory” after his visit of October 15, 1943. (in Eisan p. 254)
